12th April 2017

MineARC System’s Petrochemical Business Development Manager, Evan Morch, was excited to attend Gastech, the world’s largest international natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) exhibition. Staged at the Makuhari Messe Chiba, Tokyo, from 4-7 April 2017, Gastech was supported by the Japan Gastech Consortium, 10 leading Japanese companies committed to the development and success of the event.

Encompassing 54,000sqm of floor space, four product sector zones and eight country pavilions, the expo welcomed over 600 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors. In its 45th year, the Gastech Exhibition and Conference demonstrated how far the event has come since its original occurrence in 1972; organised to bring together technical decision makers involved in LNG and LPG shipping. Whilst the event is still organised by the industry for the industry, it has evolved to include and attract the entire supply chain.

Amongst the showcase of latest innovations, technologies and developments across the value sectors, Evan was able to rub shoulders with an extensive range of expert delegates and technical innovators including Shell, BP, Chevron, Qatar Petroleum, Exxon Mobil, Pertamina and BASF. He was able to discover business-changing insights, understand the issues impacting the industry today and in the future, explore innovative solutions and build business connections.

Gastech has become the world’s favourite meeting place for professionals in the industry by bringing the technical and commercial worlds together in a single location. Operating on an 18 month cycle and in different locations, Barcelona will next play host to the Gastech Exhibition and Conference between 17-20 September 2018 at the Fira Barcelona, Spain.
