MINEARC ATTENDS THE XXVII BI-ANNUAL SAFETY AND HEALTH CONVENTION
9th April 2017
Organised by CAMIMEX (Mexico’s Mining Committee), the XXVII Bi-Annual Safety and Health Convention took place during November of 2016 in San Luis Potosi, SLP. Mexico.
MineARC Sales Representative, Tobias Sainz, was in attendance during the conference to introduce the new MineARC GuardIAN Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics System to the industry. Also on display were MineARC’s Stench Gas System, Rock Bolt Cutter, and Rescue Dog Communication System.
Tobias had the opportunity to discuss the Mexican STPS 023 Standard with CAMIMEX directors and the STPS Secretary of SLP, including new technologies for safety in mining and the prevention of accidents. Additional topics discussed during the expo were Mexican standards NOM-018-STPS-2015 ‘Communication Risks – System to Identify and Communicate Dangers and Risks of Dangerous Chemicals in the Workplace’ and 10 STPS-2014 ‘Contaminated Chemical Agents in Workplace – Recognition, Evaluation and Control for Fulfillments and Obligations’ were reviewed in greater detail.
The convention was a great opportunity for MineARC to keep clients informed of our latest advancements in technology and to assist in the progression towards a safer mining industry in Mexico. We look forward to attending once again in 2017.
