MineARC Electrical HRM (Hard Rock Mine) Refuges have emerged as the number one selling mine refuge in the world, as a result of over a decade of research and development along with an inherent understanding of underground safety requirements. The HRM has been developed and refined in co-operation with leading mining companies worldwide, and is the only HRM refuge model in the world to comply in full with the 2009 West Australian Guidelines for Refuge Chambers in Metalliferous [Hard-Rock] Mines (see link below).

The HRM 4 Refuge (accommodates up to 4 people) is compact and easy to maneuver, making it ideal for tight confines such as development headings. The unit can be custom fitted into a range of transportation configurations, including raised skids (for lifting with a Bogger or IT unit) and wheels and tow bar (see details below).
