Our Mechanical Engineers work both independently and in teams developing controlled environment solutions for clients. This includes the design of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems and gas measurement, control and removal systems. Their design process involves 3D parametric modelling and drafting in
SolidWorks as well as flow simulation and finite element analysis.
MineARC Engineers conduct regular testing of holistic refuge chamber systems, and can provide risk analysis and
engineering reports to clients as required. They also provide advice to industry bodies on new safety regulations. The team is provided with the best software and resources available in order to facilitate their focus on product performance and improvement.
MineARC Systems’ team of Electrical and Software Designers spend their time both hands-on in the R&D laboratory and consulting on new projects. They are equipped in developing software for proprietary electrical equipment, as well as designing custom printed circuit boards and embedded electronics. Some of their major projects include the development of HMI (Human Machine Interface) and diagnostics technology, Uninterruptable Power System (UPS) solutions and the design of intrinsically safe or hazardous area products.
