    MineARC’s Refuge Chamber Refurbishment Program transforms damaged, worn or second-hand chambers into fully functioning, certified refuge chambers that look as good as new.   • South African Mine Site leads the way in Refuge Chamber Maintenance

    MineARC’s relationship with Palabora Mining Company (PMC) continues to grow, as the mine site embraces regular servicing and refuge chamber upgrades. PMC purchased their first MineARC Refuge Chamber in 2013; the first chamber to be manufactured and supplied out of MineARC’s South African facility. Since then, they have purchased a further two 26-person MineSAFE Standard Design chambers, as well as six Permanent Refuge Chambers, the largest accommodating 100 people. – More information

    Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) have recently purchased a MineARC MineSAFE Essential Design Refuge Chamber through Indian distributor Swati Safesecure Equipments Pvt Ltd for their open-pit Rajpura Dariba Mine in Rajasthan, northern India. Featuring a narrower shell than the Standard Design, the Essential Refuge Chamber accommodates tight hard rock mining confines, making it easy to manoeuvre and position around the mine site, without compromising on safety or performance. – More information

  • Compact EnviroLAV Provides Space Saving Advantage to South African Sites

    The EnviroLAV is proving popular in Africa, with the latest sales of two Compact Design units going to Wesizwe Platinum for use at their new Bakubung Platinum mine (BPM).   • Rock Bolt Cutter

    MineARC’s standard Rock Bolt Cutter (RBC) has been designed to make the task of cutting rock bolt and threaded rod safe and efficient. Successfully used by mine sites around the globe, the lightweight RBC can cut through 25mm (1”) rod within 20 seconds.
     
    The Rock Bolt Cutter connects to any hydraulic power pack with a minimum 4000psi working pressure. Designed for two person operation, the cutter features quick release safety couplers and optional hydraulic foot pump operation for added safety. – More information

  • Electric Stench Gas System

    The electric stench gas system is MineARC’s premium range, comprising a twin cylinder stench gas unit and a sub-controller that can be connected through to an existing mine control system or to the optional MineARC Stench Gas Master Controller.
     
    This fully electrical system allows for safe, remote operation of the stench gas units via the sub-controller in the event of an emergency, removing the need for local activation. – More information

  • Manual Stench Gas System

    MineARC’s standard manual stench gas unit comprises a set of twin gas cylinders housed within a durable steel cabinet with reflective signage, designed specifically for harsh underground conditions.
     
    The stench gas cylinders are manually activated via gas release valves on the top of the exterior housing. Pressure gauges indicate successful release of the gas. – More information

  • Coal Spec EnviroLAV Waste Management System

     
    The latest addition to the EnviroLAV range is MineARC’s Coal Spec EnviroLAV; featuring the same floorsize as the Standard EnviroLAV, but with a shorter height for lower seam coal mines.
